Borthwick Castle is located just 13 miles from Edinburgh on the edge of the Scottish Borders overlooking beautiful countryside. There are 10 rooms (or Bedchambers) within the castle an in the grounds.
The Castle is licensed for civil and religious wedding ceremonies and the whole venue may be hired for exclusive use on your wedding day. The Garrison Chapel holds up to 75 guests for a civil ceremony or Borthwick Parish Church is at the entrance to the Castle. The Great Hall is the magnificent location for the wedding banquet and 75 people can be seated for your wedding meal.
